  Dr. Korbett does just as the State of Georgia requires of psychiatrists - to diagnose and treat mental illnesses. He does a great job explaining conditions and medictions, but he is not going to be able to provide counseling. My only complaint is that we have to call every month to have prescriptions refilled and the office does not call back if there is an issue with it, but that is the staff, and not Dr. Korbett's fault.

  Dr. Alan Korbett is the most heartless doctor I have ever encountered. My son was hospitalized 7 months ago and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. He was referred by the hospital to this doctor. He saw him once and continued him with the same medication he was given at the hospital. They had been filling up his meds for the past 6 months and they just refused to do it anymore. I had asked for an appointment was given one a month out. I had been calling them for the past 10 days and every day they tell me that he has been given my message and he will get back to me. Well, he did today and said that He does not want to see my son anymore because I had been getting drugs form other doctors too. I asked where the evidence on that was and he didn't have an answer for that. I have gone to the pharmacy when I had it filled every month and they have his office fill out the meds. electronically and that it was his signature that was one it. So he basically accused me and my family for drug trafficking without any evidence. That office is so heartless and sees patients as just numbers and there is no humanity at all. STAY AWAY.
